The Replay
A conversation went wrong. Someone came at you in a meeting and you didn't meet them where they were. You froze, or you over-explained, or you said the one line you wish you could take back. It's days later and it's still playing.
Most of us only ever rehearse the miss. We run the bad version at night, again and again, until it's the only version we have of that meeting.
This gives you a second one. It doesn't change what happened. It gives your body a second reference for what it's like to be in a moment like that.

This is an exercise I use with clients, the same one, word for word. It's on this site because it moved something for a person I was working with.
Groundwork is the newsletter. One situation, one tool like this one, and a question I read every reply to, every other Sunday. Subscribers get every tool on this site, free. Put your email in and this one opens right now.
